Telecast live from the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland in Hollywood, for the program's conclusion Barbra Streisand joined Meet The Fockers co-star Dustin Hoffman to present the Best Picture award to Clint Eastwood and co-producers Albert S. Ruddy and Tom Rosenberg of Million Dollar Baby.

Having previously appeared on the Oscars twice this decade (2002 and 2003) after an on stage absence since 1993 when presenting Clint Eastwood's first Best Director award (she was in the audience in 1997), Streisand made her second ever Best Picture award presentation, which is certainly the most prestigious spot on the program. With touches of humor and spontaneity, she announced the winner with a personal touch—“I'm so glad to give you this award again, Clint.”
