About the Album

The Lyrics Of Alan & Marilyn Bergman was a promotional 4-CD set, packaged in a 12"x6" box. The set included a 20-page booklet with a biography of the lyricists, full track listing and chronology of the tracks contained on the set.

Mark Iskowitz's Barbra Streisand Music Guide described the set succinctly: “Barbra's 1969-70 recording of the Legrand-Bergman song One Day is included on this 4-CD box set and is otherwise unreleased on CD. This version is a different mix of the 1990 video presentation in The Earth Day Special, as it features a refrain of Somewhere near the end. The box set also has 20 previously released Streisand recordings.”
