Meet Barbra Streisand (1966)

David Jacobs interviewed Barbra Streisand for BBC radio in 1966 while she was in London preparing to open the stage version of Funny Girl.

Jacobs has hosted shows on the BBC for decades, including the shows Housewives Choice, BBC Jazz Club, Pick Of The Pops, Melodies For You. He is currently on BBC Radio 2. According to his bio, “1994 marked David's 50th year in broadcasting. In 1996 he celebrated his 70th birthday...”

In the excerpts below, Jacobs mentions a song from Passion Flower Hotel, which is “How Much of a Dream Comes True”.
