Barbra committed to a five week, twenty-city tour of the U.S. in 1966. However, while Barbra was in London performing Funny Girl, she announced her pregnancy. Four months pregnant, and having just finished the London run of Funny Girl, Barbra returned to America and performed An Evening With Barbra Streisand in only four cities: Newport, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Chicago.
(Below, left: Streisand's concert stage, seen from afar, had a backdrop of criss-crossing bolts of fabric.)

(Above) The photo caption for this shot reads: “Holding her toy poodle Sadie, [Streisand] left New York's La Guardia Airport for the beginning of her new concert tour in a Jet-Commander named Barbra's Second Hand Rose, a sleek, twin-engine executive jet aircraft ... The entertainer plans a concert Saturday night in Atlanta, Ga. and another several days later in Chicago, Ill. As an answer to the airlines strike, Miss Streisand plans to use her jet so she can return home each evening after her engagement.”
