The Cocoanut Grove
Ambassador Hotel
Los Angeles, California
August 21 - September 8, 1963

Barbra's first L.A. appearance! Lots of Hollywood stars attended. The entire three week run was sold out. Barbra hobnobbed with agents and stars. Judy Garland saw Streisand at the Grove and Barbra was booked soon after on her show. Songwriters Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen brought Barbra the song "Love Is A Bore" and played it for her one night.
